This brief presents findings from a 2-year project in Northeast Nigeria funded by USAID. The project is led by the International Rescue Committee (IRC) and the EASEL Lab at Harvard University, in partnership with Nigerian educators and government officials in Borno and Yobe states. The overall purpose of the project is to improve learning outcomes for students in Northeast Nigeria. In this phase, we collaborated with local teachers to create and pilot a set of low-cost activities to build social and emotional skills.
